GLOBELEQ BOARD APPOINTS RICK MENELL AS THE NEW CHAIR
LONDON, 11 AUGUST 2025: Globeleq Limited announced that Laurence Mulliez, who has served as Chair of the Board since 1 September 2018, has decided to step down from her position to focus on her other professional commitments. Rick Menell has been appointed as the new Chair of the Board, effective 11 August, 2025.
Rick brings a wealth of experience spanning investment banking, and executive leadership across the global mining and finance sectors. His decades of strategic insight, governance expertise, and deep commitment to collaboration between the public and private sectors will be instrumental in guiding Globeleq through its next phase of growth and innovation.
The Board is confident that Rick’s leadership will support Globeleq to lead the energy transition in Southern Africa.
