Menengai is a 35 MW greenfield geothermal project and part of the first phase of the wider Menengai complex, which is the second large-scale geothermal field being developed in Kenya after Olkaria. Globeleq will operate and maintain the power plant once it has reached commercial operations in 2025.

The Globeleq-led Central Térmica de Temane (CTT) 450 MW gas-fired power project, located at Temane in Inhambane Province in Mozambique, will supply low-cost, reliable power to Electricidade de Moçambique (EDM) under a 25-year tolling agreement using natural gas supplied from the Pande-Temane Fields

In November 2022 at the 27th COP meeting (COP27), Globeleq signed a Framework Agreement with the General Authority for Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE), the Sovereign Fund of Egypt for Investment and Development (TSFE)

Globeleq and Black Rhino are developing QIPP, a 540 MW CCGT gas fired power plant with associated 58 km 330 kV transmission line. Electricity will be sold to NBET and gas supplied by MPN, both under 20 year long term contracts.
