Globeleq acquired the ARC for Renewable Energy S.A.E. (ARC) 91 MWp solar PV plant in the Benban Solar Park near Aswan, Egypt, during 2021. 

The 11 MW Aries Solar Power is located 36 km south west of the town of Kenhardt in the Northern Cape Province and generates approximately 22 000 megawatt hours per year, supplying enough clean, renewable electrical energy to power more than 4 900 average South African homes.

Located in the village Azito, near Abidjan, the Azito power plant generates electricity using natural gas from the country’s offshore gas fields. The facility uses combined cycle gas turbines that generate 713 MW of electricity, equating to around 30% of the country’s base load generation.

The 66 MW Boshof Solar plant is located in Boshof, 55 km north east of the town of Kimberley, in the Free State Province.

Globeleq and its project partners, Source Energia and Electricidade de Moçambique (EDM), own and operate the 19 MWp (15 MWac) Cuamba Solar PV plant with a 7 MWh energy storage system.

Konkoonsies Solar Power is one of the first solar facilities arising from the South African Government’s Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer Procurement Programme (REIPPPP) and is located in the Northern Cape Province.

Situated near the coastal city of Kribi in Cameroon, Kribi Power sells electricity to ENEO the national utility company through a 20 year PPA.

Malindi Solar is a 40 MW AC (52 MWp PV) solar plant and located nearly 50km from Malindi town.

Menengai is a 35 MW greenfield geothermal project & part of the first phase of the wider Menengai complex, the second large-scale geothermal field being developed in Kenya after Olkaria. Globeleq will operate and maintain the power plant once it reaches commercial operations in 2025.

The Mocuba power plant is located on 126 hectares, about 13km from the city of Mocuba in Zambezia province in central Mozambique.

Situated in Dar es Salaam, Songas provides electricity to the national grid and local industrial users.

The 31 MW Soutpan Solar Power plant is situated in South Africa's northern Limpopo Province and is one of the first solar facilities arising from the South African Government's REIPPPP.
