Globeleq acquired the ARC for Renewable Energy S.A.E. (ARC) 66 MWp solar PV plant in the Benban Solar Park near Aswan, Egypt, during 2021. 

The 11 MWp Aries Solar Power is located 36 km south west of the town of Kenhardt in the Northern Cape Province and generates approximately 22,000 megawatt hours per year, supplying enough clean, renewable electrical energy to power more than 4,900 average South African homes.

Located in the village Azito, near Abidjan, the Azito power plant generates electricity using natural gas from the country’s offshore gas fields. The facility uses combined cycle gas turbines that generate 713 MW of electricity, equating to around 30% of the country’s base load generation.

The 66 MWp Boshof Solar plant is located in Boshof, 55 km north east of the town of Kimberley, in the Free State Province.

Globeleq and its project partners, Source Energia and Electricidade de Moçambique (EDM), own and operate the 19 MWp (15 MWac) Cuamba Solar PV plant with a 7 MWh energy storage system.

Situated outside the town of De Aar in South Africa, this solar power plant is part of the South African Government's Renewable Energy IPP Procurement Programme.

Situated in Yassa Village near Douala in Cameroon, Dibamba Power sells electricity to ENEO, the national utility.

Situated just north of Kimberley in South Africa, this solar power plant is part of the South African Government's Renewable Energy IPP Procurement Programme.

The Kafue Solar project is a 56 MWp PV project being developed by Globeleq in Zambia. The project consists of two co-located 20 MWac solar PV plants (40 MWac contracted capacity) and includes a 3.5km powerline connecting to the Kafue town substation

Klipheuwel Wind Farm is located 5km west of Caledon in the Overberg region of the Western Cape, in the Theewaterskloof Local Municipality.

Konkoonsies Solar Power is one of the first solar facilities arising from the South African Government’s Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer Procurement Programme (REIPPPP) and is located in the Northern Cape Province.

Situated near the coastal city of Kribi in Cameroon, Kribi Power sells electricity to ENEO the national utility company through a 20 year PPA.

LHPC’s first solar PV plant is being constructed as part of its growth pipeline to further diversify Zambia’s renewable energy mix. LHPC is Globeleq’s majority owned entity which also operates 56 MW of hydropower in the Central Region.

The Lunsemfwa Hydropower Station is a 24 MW facility in Zambia’s Central Province, managed by Globeleq’s majority owned LHPC, the first IPP in Zambia and a member of the Southern Africa Power Pool.

Malindi Solar is a 40 MW AC (52 MWp PV) solar plant and located nearly 50km from Malindi town.

The Mocuba power plant is located on 126 hectares, about 13km from the city of Mocuba in Zambezia province in central Mozambique.

Mulungushi is a 32 MW hydropower station in Zambia’s Central Province and one of two plants operated by LHPC, the country’s first Independent Power Producer and majority owned by Globeleq.

The 31 MW Soutpan Solar Power plant is situated in South Africa's northern Limpopo Province and is one of the first solar facilities arising from the South African Government's REIPPPP.
