
Globeleq acquired the ARC for Renewable Energy S.A.E. (ARC) 66 MWp solar PV plant in the Benban Solar Park near Aswan, Egypt, during 2021.

The 11 MW Aries Solar Power is located 36 km south west of the town of Kenhardt in the Northern Cape Province and generates approximately 22 000 megawatt hours per year, supplying enough clean, renewable electrical energy to power more than 4 900 average South African homes.
